Ferric Citrate: A Study Drug for Children and Teenagers with Hyperphosphatemia from Chronic Kidney Disease

Chronic Kidney disease can cause Hyperphosphatemia (extra phosphate in the blood). Ferric Citrate is a study drug for children and teenagers with this condition. We are trying to find out if the study drug can safely lower the amount of phosphate in the blood of children and teenagers. The information we gain may aid future patients.
