Connecting Online Peers to Support Adults with Type 1 diabetes
Diabetes is a serious disease for millions of Americans. Self-management of the condition can be difficult. Social support shows people better manage the disease by working with peers. Connecting online peers is a way to help people with the disease. Research is needed to compare the effectiveness of online peer support groups for young adults with type 1 diabetes.
