Staccato Alprazolam: A Study Drug for People with Stereotypical Prolonged Seizures
Seizures can be long-lasting and hard to control with serious results. Typically, these seizures require drugs to stop them from happening. Staccato Alprazolam is a new drug to stop this seizure. Research is needed to know the safety and effectiveness of this drug in people who have had prolonged seizures. The information we learn may aid future patients.

Gender: All
Age: Over 18 years old
Volunteers: Volunteers with special conditions
Location: In Person
Inclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18 years and older
- Epilepsy diagnosis
- History of past typical prolonged seizure
- Participant may need to use specific birth control during the study
- In-person at the University of Utah
Exclusion Criteria:
- Physical or mental disability that prevents being in the study
- History of drug or alcohol abuse
- History or currently have a chronic disease
- History or currently have Asthma
- Brain disorder or tumor
